The thing with first impressions is that most of the time you arent the one that is making it. Let me explain. First impressions are usually formed by the other persons preconceived notions, their background, belief system, or things they may have heard about you. Rarely is a first impression truly formed in the others persons mind by anything that you do or say. Think about that for a moment. brbrFor example, lets say that you and I agree to meet in a coffee shop for the first time. Consciously or unconsciously you will make some immediate judgments about me based on my gender, race, height, build, and age. When I speak you will make more judgments concerning my birth place, education, income level, sexual orientation, etc. Finally, you will decide whether or not you want to associate with me based on YOUR preferences, not mine! So, did I really get a chance to quotmake an impression?quot No, not, hardly. Positive or negative, you formed your own impression!brbrThe real question is can someones impression of you change over time? Again, that depends on the other person. Some people choose to see only what the want to see regardless of what is really there.

It is impossible for mankind to achieve peace on earth himself.brbrAs a matter of fact, it says in the Word of God that is God did not shorten the time to his Sons return no flesh would be saved.brbrSo in other words, man will ultimately destroy himself unless God does not interfere.brbrYet, once the Son has come upon the earth and has destroyed all his enemies, it is written it will be a time of great peace. The lion and the lamb will lie in the field together. brbrCome Lord Jesus come.

First let me say that I am totally antinazi, I believe the holocaust happened and I thank God Hitler lost. I got a violation the last time I asked this question, so if you must, you must. No hard feelings.

Hitler made many errors, one of which was to think himself a military genius because he was right once.brbrHe stopped at Dunkirk, because he wanted to give the British a chance to sue for peace.brThen he listened to Goering who swore that he could bring the British to the peace table just with his planes instead of invading immediately. The Luftwaffe had lost flight crew during France campaign and needed time before it was ready to attack, time the RAF put to good use. brThen when the British bombed Berlin he sent the bombers against London just when the Luftwaffe was succeeding in its campaign to destroy the RAF. brHe attacked Russia before closing down the western front. brHe got sucked in Africa, and didnt put the effort needed to win and get access to the petrol fields. brHe ignored the naval war. He was an infantry man and never understood the need to have power over the sea, the loss of the Bismark just put a stop to his interest. The Uboots did tremendous damages but couldnt stop the convoys.brHe stopped using paratroopers as air lifted units after Crete because of the tremendous loss those units suffered. The Allied learned the lesson and started using them.brHe stopped the production of the ME the first jet powered plane in to change it to a fighter bomber. That plane would have destroyed the Allied air forces. When it came out in mid it did a lot of damages but the production was slowed to a trickle by the Allied bombing. brbrAnd thats only a few of them... Thanks goodness for all of them.
